A Heartfelt Meeting with Sandeep Patil (writer, director and executive producer)

18 Jan, 2026 Mumbai, Maharashtra

Art often goes beyond visual expression and becomes a bridge between emotions, memories, and human connections. I experienced this deeply during my recent meeting with renowned Marathi film industry personality Sandeep Patil, a respected writer, director, and executive producer known for his meaningful contribution to Marathi cinema.
During this meeting, I had the honour of presenting him with a charcoal portrait depicting him with his mother. The artwork was created with great sensitivity, keeping in mind not just likeness, but emotion and memory. As soon as he saw the portrait, the moment turned profoundly emotional. His reaction made it clear that the artwork had touched a very personal space in his heart.
What made the meeting even more special was his humility and warmth. Despite being a well-known figure in the Marathi film industry, he received the artwork not as a formality, but as a deeply personal gesture. His appreciation was not only for the technical aspects of the portrait, but for the thought and emotion behind it.
For me as an artist, this meeting was more than just presenting an artwork—it was a reminder of why I create. When art becomes a vessel for love, memory, and emotion, it fulfils its true purpose. Moments like these strengthen my commitment to creating meaningful work that resonates beyond galleries and exhibitions.

Memorable Meeting with Atharva Sudame and Rucha Joshi (famous content creator and social media influencer)

27 Jul, 2025 Pune, Maharashtra

Art has a unique way of creating connections beyond professions and platforms. I recently had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Atharva Sudame, a well-known content creator, along with his wife Rucha Joshi, in a moment that beautifully reflected warmth, humility, and mutual respect.
On this occasion, I presented them with a handcrafted portrait capturing them together. The artwork was created with attention to detail and emotion, aiming to reflect not just their likeness, but the bond they share. Their response to the portrait was genuinely heartwarming. Atharva Sudame appreciated the artwork with visible happiness, while both he and Rucha Joshi received it with remarkable simplicity and grace.
What stood out most during the meeting was their humble and grounded nature. Despite Atharva Sudame’s popularity as a content creator, the interaction felt personal and sincere. They acknowledged the effort involved, and expressed genuine appreciation, making the moment even more meaningful for me as an artist.
Such encounters reaffirm the belief that art transcends digital reach and public recognition. When creative expressions meet humility, they result in moments that stay with an artist long after the meeting ends.
For me, this was not just about presenting a portrait—it was about experiencing how art can connect people on a human level. The warmth and respect shown by Atharva Sudame and Rucha Joshi turned this meeting into a memorable chapter of my artistic journey.

12 Sep, 2024 Kothrud, Pune, Maharashtra

Art often becomes a medium of dialogue between creativity and public life. I recently had the honour of meeting Mr. Muralidhar Mohol, Minister in the Central Government and Member of Parliament from the Pune constituency, during a memorable and meaningful interaction.
On this occasion, I presented him with a handcrafted charcoal portrait, created with sincerity and attention to detail. The artwork was offered as a gesture of respect, reflecting the values of dedication and public service that Mr. Mohol represents. He received the portrait with warmth and appreciation, acknowledging the effort and emotion behind the artwork.
Despite his responsibilities at the national level, Mr. Mohol’s approach during the meeting was grounded and approachable. His humble nature and encouraging words made the interaction especially meaningful for me as an artist. Moments like these remind one that art can transcend boundaries and create genuine human connections, even within formal settings.
For me, this meeting was more than a ceremonial exchange. It was an affirmation that art has a place not only in galleries and exhibitions, but also in conversations that reflect society, leadership, and cultural values. Presenting my artwork to a representative of public service was both an honour and a source of inspiration.
