Nehru Centre, Worali, Mumbai

The debut exhibition at the India Art Festival, Mumbai showcases a compelling series of charcoal works that celebrate form, emotion, and realism. With a strong focus on portraiture, I uses charcoal as a primary medium to explore depth, texture, and narrative. This exhibition represents the beginning of a professional artistic journey, setting the foundation for future explorations and evolving expressions.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Yogesh Deshpande (Actor, director, writer) with chief guest Shri Pramod Kamble (Senior Sculptor). This exhibition marks a powerful beginning in my journey with charcoal. I exhibit 2 artworks in this group show. And the best part is, it invites viewers to pause, reflect, and connect, not just with the artwork, but with the emotions hidden beneath the surface.

P. N. Gadgil kaladalan, Aundh, Pune

The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Hanumant Todkar (Art professor) with chief guest Shri Raj Kumar (Sub zonal director, India council for cultural relations, New Delhi). Each artwork is created using charcoal’s natural contrasts, allowing light and shadow to shape mood and movement. The absence of colour draws the viewer closer to texture, detail, and feeling, making every piece intimate and immersive. The strokes are bold yet sensitive, capturing both intensity and vulnerability in a single frame.
